A perfect example of how to cover a song but still make it your own. I loved this performance.

Maxwell, did a PHENOMENAL job! This was a beautiful tribute to Michael Jackson. Maxwell sang the song with heart, like Michael always did while still making it his own…..what a true artist.

This made me miss MJ. His version is just so incredible – passionate, breathy, sexy. This is good, though.

They say imitation is the highest form of flattery. Maxwell didn’t try to make it his own- it was just a tribute to MJ’s mastery. Well done.

WELL DONE! Maxwell’s tribute to Mr. Jackson was AWESOME. He sang it in the traditional way Michael Jackson would have but he gave it his own flavor. Which was soooo sexy. I think he should redo it and add it to his next album after BSN is complete and released.

Maxwell did a AWESOME job on this song. Remember it was a tribute. You have to make a song your own to make it work for you, without destroying the original lyrics of the song.

That moment with Maxwell singing Lady In My Life was breath taking he is truly a master piece without a doubt. With a voice like that there is no way in the world he wont walk away with all of his six grammy’s that he was nominated for. Go Maxwell God Bless You you deserve it.
