This seems suspect all these years and he is just now, addressing the rumors. That last album he did was a PopRap album and now he is taking it back to gutter shit that made him famous in the first place.Um, love the new music but this is about selling albums and making sure we don’t think he is too watered down.

This shits trash, just another dash for the cash, neither of em will last, mainstream creativity is in the past, rappers drankin crunk juice out of a pimp glass, rappers using the pad for the paper, its bad when the canvass can’t take ya, shake ya, but the money breaks ya, till yous a phony a faka, rappers focusin on the dough instead of the know, its a show, inhibited to grow, so whats good? well whats “hood”? what you gunna spend your money on? rocks bitches and blow? or drops which is essential to grow? Words spoken aren’t necessarily spoken word and the hottest shit ain’t exactly what everyone heard.

I hope everyone here understands it is time to quit playing games with Hip Hop and recognize Hip Hop is a culture. It is a way of life with real history, real people, and real activism involved. Now is the time for the recording industry to die so Hip Hop Music can live in its purest form. It is time to go back into independence.

If you are an emcee [which is more than just a rapper] understand you no longer need a record deal. Be your own boss and align your skills with business and marketing. It is very affordable to start your own e-label. From that point on you just need to learn how to mingle and communicate with people; market yourself. Most of all you need to stay in touch with knowing your history and all of Hip Hops contributing forms and aesthetics. Be a complete cultural package or you will just be a slave without roots.

Emcees need to come back home and embrace the one who gave birth to them; the DJ. Emcees need to learn there are others with greater passion and fanaticism such as the B-Boy and the Graff Writer. And emcees need to learn the recording industry does not make you.

    Peace.
